Scar Therapy (via MPS)
Scars are universal and take on many forms from surgical, broken bones, sprained joints, torn muscles, inflammation, or any areas that are injured with trauma. We all accumulate scars throughout our lives, and they impact our bodies in many negative ways. Center for Pain & Stress Research has developed a patented new Scar Release Therapy (SRT), a safe, clinically tested and proven solution.
What is Scar Therapy?
Scar Release Therapy (SRT) is a non-invasive treatment designed to improve the appearance and function of scar tissue. It uses Microcurrent Point Stimulation (MPS) to deliver a concentrated microcurrent deep into the fibrous tissue of the scar. It helps to release adhesions, reduce pain, and improve circulation and mobility.
The therapy is particularly effective for various types of scars, including those from C-sections, surgeries, and injuries. It can help alleviate pain and discomfort associated with scars, improve the skin’s sensation, and enhance the overall healing process.
Microcurrent Point Stimulation (MPS) therapy utilizes the Dolphin, a pair of handheld, electrically charged devices designed to treat chronic and acute soft tissue pain. These devices deliver brief microcurrent impulses that help relax muscles, calm the central nervous system (CNS), and release endorphins, the body’s natural painkillers. This is a natural pain-relieving technique with little to no side effects.
Did You Know?
After surgery or trauma, scars can continue to grow and change for up to 2-3 years. While they may appear minor on the surface, scars are often much deeper below, where they can adhere to muscles, bones, ligaments, and nerves. These adhesions can impact fascial tissue, restrict lymph flow, and disrupt energy pathways throughout the body.
Why Treat Scars with MPS Therapy?
Microcurrent Point Stimulation (MPS) therapy is highly effective for releasing deep adhesions and restoring tissue mobility. MPS can be applied immediately post-surgery or even decades later, helping to reduce chronic pain and improve movement. Even scars that are 20+ years old can create restrictions and increase stress on the nervous system.
The Impact of Scar Tissue on Energy Flow
Unlike healthy skin, which carries a positive charge, scar tissue becomes negatively charged. This charge imbalance disrupts the body’s energy flow, particularly when scars are located on the torso (e.g., C-section scars), blocking energy between the upper and lower body.
